Guidelines
1. General Engagement and Discourse The primary objective of this hub is to foster a cohesive, autonomous neighborhood network. All discourse must align with the principles of constructive engagement.
Civility: Maintain objective, respectful dialogue. Disagreements regarding neighborhood logistics or HOA policies are expected, but they must not degrade into ad hominem attacks, harassment, or inflammatory rhetoric.
Relevance: Ensure discussions are localized to Riata West and its immediate surrounding impacts. Overtly national political debates or subjects completely decoupled from the neighborhood's operational reality should be avoided.
2. Content Submission and User-Generated Media
Accuracy: When discussing neighborhood events, municipal codes, or HOA management actions, prioritize verifiable information to prevent the spread of localized misinformation.
Safe Harbor: Do not post malicious links, unauthorized executable files, or content that violates statutory copyright protections.
3. Commercial Activity and Solicitations
Resident Professionals: The promotion of resident-owned businesses, contractors, and internal services is highly encouraged to support our localized economic ecosystem mandate. However, all commercial promotions, service offerings, and solicitations must be strictly confined to designated infrastructure.
Designated Placements: Members must submit their business details for listing within the dedicated "Neighborhood Expert Directory" or publish their offerings exclusively within the specific forum nodes provisioned for commercial activity.
Prohibited Routing: Injecting commercial solicitations into general discussion threads, unrelated topics, or unsolicited direct messaging channels is prohibited and will result in administrative removal.
External Spam: Unsolicited commercial advertising by non-residents or entities that do not provide a negotiated, tangible benefit (e.g., master service agreements or group discounts) to the Riata West community is strictly prohibited and will be actively filtered.
4. Administrative Moderation The administrative team operates this infrastructure on a volunteer basis. We reserve the right to lock threads, remove volatile content, or suspend accounts that disrupt the operational stability or social fabric of the platform. Moderation actions are executed at the sole discretion of the administration to preserve the utility of the hub.
